They stand as a testament to a 1970 fire that devastated the historical Roman Catholic Church, leaving only its mighty walls behind. By 1999, its significance was recognized, and it was crowned a National Historic Site.

Open daily, the site becomes even more alive on weekends between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM when curators share tales of its rich past. Beyond its historical allure, the ruins double up as a photogenic spot and a venue for diverse events, from intimate weddings to vibrant concerts.
